Silver Lining, Day 1388

Something to chew on. Keep in mind, toward the end, the Trump campaign was cash-poor and had been vastly outspent by Biden.  

Imagine, had Trump embraced science from the get-go, and started mass-producing, selling and marketing MAGA masks , and crimson Trump Masks, and all the variations (I'm convinced "Lock Her Up" masks would have still been best sellers). He would have sold these to his followers by the boatload (one for every day of the week!), and his campaign could have had a huge influx of cash AND his supporters would have worn those masks with zealous abandon. 

Think about it. Not only about the financial possibilities, HOW MANY LIVES WOULD HE HAVE SAVED, especially among his own base? 

One can argue that, had he not mishandled the pandemic from the onset, this election would have gone a much different way. His supporters may not agree, but he also mishandled a huge marketing opportunity that, I argue, would have made a difference and changed history. 

An astute businessman should have known better.
